And for something a little more relavent

The new album is now complete. Yeahee! It is entitled "The state of our Union is Strong?" Its taken directly from this years state of the union address, with a question mark added for sarcasm. It's available for download here
Also I found a cool definition of noise music on Wikipedia. So I might not add my own what is noise section, I might just link to this.
But either way I won't be thinking about this for a while. I am taking a break from SI for a little bit. I need to get my studying down, apply to grad school, and other wise be a grown up.

News that that isn't very worthy

Not that important, but I found a new site to host mp3's on. This of course isn't so profound, if you've been by my site you'll notice I'm signed up for like 40 or 50
"music communities" "mp3 hosts" whatever you want to call them. But the exciting this about this new one is that they offer a ton of space. So between this new sight Mp3 Artists Online and the other sights I am a member of there will continue to be Subversive Intentions Albums up on line for a long time to come.
Also I have aquired a couple of new audio editing software programs. So hopefully they will that subversive sound progress even further.

Come on feel the Noise

The new album is almost complete. I worked on a couple new songs, over the weekend, particularly sunday as I was stuck inside due to a blizzard. I have added a newly finished track to MySpace called Subject/Subjection which should be available for download with in 24 hours. Again MySpace kinda sucks as far naming conventions go, so I wasn't allowed to use the "/" in the song title, so look out for SubjectSubjection.
So far the new album is 55 minutes with 10 tracks. I may add a couple more, but I'm starting to feel kinda burned out. I will however be adding lyrics to most of these, mostly spoken word kinda stuff. Also its still unnamed so if there are any suggestions feel free to pass them on to me. I'll be sure to give credit where credit is due.

It's Getting Nosier Around Here

Inspite of my recent loss, I have still been able to work on some tunes. I have the basic outline for 8 songs, I'm working on a theme as well that will pop up throughout the album. I have one track completely finished which was going to be entitled an html tag but unfortunately the song uploader wouldn't recognise the name so its under the title, "a target equals underscore self" on MySpace. And for those who haven't heard it yet there is another track up on MySpace from the new album. Be sure to check it out and while your there add me to your friends list!
Also I have a theme lined up for the next couple of albums, one of which I want to base around circuit bending, if I can develope my mechanical prowess. Not sure what circuit bending is? Check out http://www.anti-theory.com for a step by step lesson in how to create your own cirsuit bending instruments.

Updates

The sample track from the new album is up on Soundclick so be sure to check it out. Also the website has been updated abit, hopefully you can read the text a little better. Also I have started work on a History of Noise section. This will be coming online shortly but is a work in progress so I will be adding items to it as I find them.

Good News

Thanks to the generous cats at 300sixty.com I now have a home for all my music. In their Jamroom they offer nearly unlimited space to artists, so in the coarse of a few hours I have uploaded three albums worth of mp3s. To Download they visit http://300sixty.com/jamroom/bands/50/ or go to the discography section of my website.

Lament of a plastic Microphone

Well musical production is at a halt in the Subversive Intentions camp. I went to record some stuff last night, and all I was getting out of my mic was static and wierd feedback noises. So There's not much I can record at the moment. On a lighter note the static and wierd feedback sounds are kind of cool, so I will definitely be turning those into noise gold.
Also I have finally collected all of my mp3s together, and hopefully by the end of the day I will have found a site to host tracks from Ear Ache Eye Ache Brain Bleed, As Yet Untitled, Forever unknown, and Wage Slave Noise for full download.
Another happy note for the few (if any) fans is that due to the potentially extensive delay in further recording I am releasing a sample track off of the New Album, which will be posted probably on Soundclick by the end of the day.
